Protest CMT has welcomed Geotechnical Testing Services (GTS) to the business, bringing three NATA accredited laboratories at Bendigo, Echuca and Wallan into our national network.
GTS has been operating for more than 60 years. What began at the Bendigo School of Mines has grown into a team of over 30, with a local reputation built on technical expertise and reliability. The team works across residential and commercial projects as well as council and government work throughout Victoria, supporting clients from design through to construction.
What the GTS team delivers
- Residential soil testing and site classifications to AS 2870
- Construction materials testing across soil, concrete and aggregates, both on site and in the laboratory
- Geotechnical consulting across foundation and pavement investigations, design recommendations and reporting
- Geotechnical drilling with a fleet of 4WD and trailer mounted rigs, covering auger drilling, wash boring, rock coring and SPTs
For clients in central and northern Victoria, this means access to the wider capability of Protest CMT and the PTG Group behind the same local team. For clients elsewhere in our network, it extends our coverage into a part of the state where we have not previously had laboratories on the ground.
The addition of GTS is another step in the continued growth of Protest CMT and the broader PTG Group across Australia, delivering end to end services from investigation through to testing and reporting.
