Closing a mine of this scale requires continuity across years of changing regulatory requirements, technical scope and stakeholder expectations, not a single fixed-term contract.
What We Delivered
PTG staff have supported the closure project since 2019, continuing the engagement under PTG Consulting from 2024 onward, applying a lifecycle approach across environmental restoration, closure planning and asset transition.
The Result
The client has a single, continuous point of technical accountability across a multi-year closure program, reducing handover risk and building institutional knowledge of the site that a rotating panel of consultants couldn't match.
