Structural, civil and geotechnical engineering for a $70 million, 10-level riverside residential development.
The Brief
A boutique riverside development of 78 apartments, terrace apartments and pavilions across eight levels, plus three basement levels, needed a structural scheme that maximised floor plate efficiency without compromising the site's regional geology or acid sulfate soil conditions.
What We Delivered
PTG's structural team provided early design engagement for value management, presenting various structural options to the client. The geotechnical team reviewed regional geology and acid sulfate soil tests, completed borehole drilling, and undertook all testing requirements. The civil team prepared the engineering certificate of completion for Council submission.
The Result
Stockwell Property Group received a building scheme that maximised floor plate efficiency across all disciplines (structural, civil and geotechnical), delivered under one integrated engineering team rather than three separate consultants.
