Our Journey Towards Family-Friendly Workplaces

As PTG Group evolves, so do the ways we support our people, whether they're out in the field, at their desks or cuddling a newborn at home. We’re excited to introduce our Parental Leave Policy. It's a fresh addition to our growing list of employee benefits. This policy is a quiet, yet significant nod to the changing needs of our team, recognising the importance of supporting those who are entering their parenthood era. It's about adapting to our team's diverse life stages and is a clear signal that we're listening and responding.

Dannielle Sertori stands as the first to experience the benefits of this policy. Balancing her professional role with family life, Dannielle's perspective offers a glimpse into how this policy is a subtle yet impactful change for PTG Group. Her experience paves the way for a more understanding and adaptable work environment, resonating particularly in a setting where such changes are not just welcome, but necessary.

The introduction of the Parental Leave Policy at PTG Group is not just about compliance or benefits; it's about cultivating an environment where employees feel valued and supported. This move reflects PTG Group's commitment to adapting to a changing workforce and setting a standard for a more inclusive, family-friendly workplace culture.

Dannielle, a dedicated Executive Assistant at PTG Group, has always juggled her professional responsibilities with her role as a mother. With the birth of her second child on the horizon, the new policy couldn't have come at a better time. "I was very happy to learn that PTG Group was launching a paid parental leave policy," she shares. "It was very comforting to know that the business was taking tangible action to support staff to start or grow their families."

The Parental Leave Policy at PTG Group is not just a statement; it's a commitment.

Dannielle believes this policy is a game-changer for the company's culture. "The financial support that will be available will give many employees peace of mind when starting or growing their families," she explains.

"For those who may not directly take advantage of the policy, it is another step towards showing that the company is committed to supporting those who either have families already or are planning a family at some point in the future."

As Dannielle prepares for her leave, her joy is obvious. "I’m very excited to catch up on some sleep during my time off," she jokes, a knowing smile for her fellow parents. But her plans go deeper. "In all seriousness, I am very much looking forward to spending time with our new little girl and being present to watch her grow and reach her milestones. I’m also looking forward to being able to build in some quality time with our toddler and watching him become a big brother."

This policy reflects PTG Group's recognition of the importance of work-life balance. It's about understanding that employees are not just workers but individuals with families and personal lives. By supporting them in their most crucial moments, PTG Group is not only enhancing employee satisfaction but also fostering a sense of loyalty and commitment.

As PTG Group steps into this new era, it sets a benchmark for what a supportive and family-friendly workplace looks like. This move is more than just a policy; it's a reflection of the company's values and its dedication to its most valuable asset – its people.

For Dannielle and many others at PTG Group, this policy is a show of hope and support. It's a reminder that their company stands with them, not only in their professional achievements but also in their personal journeys. As PTG Group continues to innovate and grow, it does so with the understanding that its success is intrinsically linked to the wellbeing of its employees.

In Dannielle's words, “This policy is not just about time off; it’s about truly supporting our people and empowering them with the confidence that becoming a parent does not have to mean compromising your career or struggling financially. Having young children is so wonderful but can be so challenging without support; and PTG Group establishing this policy provides that support for its people to create memories, nurture family bonds, and grow as a person and an employee.”
